Bible Study

There are several groups that study scripture here at St. Damian. They are open to new members. Regular attendance is not required - come when you can. 

Wednesdays 10:00am
Pastoral Center, Damian A
This group calls themselves “The Bible Babes.” These ladies have been meeting regularly for over 20 years! Primarily, the topic is the upcoming gospel for Sunday. Reading and discussing the gospel before helps one to be more engaged in the Liturgy of the Word at Sunday Mass.

Thursdays 7:00pm, Biweekly
Pastoral Center, Damian A
Our Bible Discussion group uses less of a study and more of a group discussion format. A passage is read and then a discussion follows on how this scripture fits into our lives today. Great for beginners!  Check our Parish Calendar for dates.

Fridays 10:00am
Pastoral Center, Lower Level
This group has used materials from Jeff Cavins, Ascension Press and Formed. Deacon Bill and Anne Stearns head up this group. Studies that require additional materials like workbooks are announced ahead of time.
