S.H.O.P. stands for "Shopping Helps Our Parish".

SHOP is a major fundraiser, a partnership between school and religious education families as well as parishioners that benefits everyone.

How does SHOP work?
SHOP sells gift cards from many local and national retailers. The retailer offers St. Damian a discount in the form of a rebated percentage which is split between the purchaser and St. Damian.
Here is an example: You buy a gift card from Jewel Food Store that offers a 4% discount. 2% of the purchase price goes to St. Damian, the other 2% goes towards the purchaser's chosen account.

Where will my credit go?
You choose! You can apply credits to:
    - St. Damian School tuition - your own or someone else's
    - St. Damian Religious Education fees - your own or someone else's
    - Food Pantry
    - St. Vincent DePaul, Men's Club or any other Parish Ministry
    - High School Tuition
    - College Tuition

How do I get started?
Visit the SHOP table in the Narthex and fill out a Family Information Sheet. Some retailers are available at the SHOP table; others are ordered. All transactions are Cash or Check only. Delivery is within a week and can be picked up at the Pastoral Center after SHOP hours for convenience. You can also SHOP online!

You Can Access the SHOP Program Online

SHOP with Scrip Procedure:

1. Start at www.raiseright.com

2. Join Program or Sign in if already a member

3. To Join, you must enter St. Damian’s Enrollment Code. Please contact Dale Lux for the code at 708.738.7145 or email d.lux@att.net

4. You can pay for your scrip with Credit Card or Presto Pay (automatic bank debit)

5. Go to “Shop”

6. It will give you a list of all Vendors

7. Vendors that have “Reload” will add any amount to your existing Gift Card. Vendors with “Script Now” will send you an E-Mail with a barcode with the amount you purchased that you present for purchases just like a Gift Card.

8. Each purchase you make will go into your Cart.

9. When you’re finished shopping, go to cart and check out.
